Welcome to James Reid Imagery
I make visual art work utilising lens based media.
My main interest and art form is reflected within Industrial and urban environments which have been rich feeding grounds for many years and providing me with inspiration and a platform for making work and telling stories using both still and moving imagery.
My background in both art and construction has been the driving force to developing architectural and construction portfolios. Today my commissioned work involves major long term projects of significance with signature Architecture, where I create a pictorial portfolio of a project, describing and defining the story of the evolution and history of significant buildings in pictures.
My work uses digital and analogue capture technology techniques, and this work has now been produced into a number of Professionally Published Books and exhibited in several Galleries.
My most recent commissions have been the Iconic 70 St Mary Axe, Can of Ham and 40 Leadenhall Street, Gotham City in the City of London.
